Founder
Soner Acar
Soner is the founder of Artessence Coffee Company and the kind of person who can’t help but get his hands dirty, whether that’s dialing in espresso, rebuilding a space from the ground up, or obsessing over the details most people overlook.
With a background in technology, product design, and building things from scratch, Soner brings a systems-level mindset to the cafe world. He believes great coffee isn’t just about beans and machines, but about intention, consistency, and creating a place people genuinely want to return to. Artessence grew out of that belief, blending craft coffee with community, creativity, and warmth.
When he’s not behind the bar or fixing something that “just needs one more adjustment,” Soner is usually dreaming up what Artessence can become next.

Gina
Gina is the heart of Artessence. A cook, artist, and creative force, she brings warmth, flavor, and soul into everything she touches.
From the kitchen to the canvas, Gina’s work is rooted in tradition, intuition, and care. Her approach to food is deeply personal, inspired by Mexican flavors, home-style cooking, and the belief that food should feel comforting, vibrant, and alive. At Artessence, she’s responsible for crafting the dishes that turn a coffee stop into a full experience.
Beyond food, Gina’s artistic background influences the cafe’s atmosphere, helping shape a space that feels expressive, welcoming, and human. She believes a café should feel like a place you can linger, connect, and feel at ease.

About Us
Artessence Coffee Company is a collaboration between craft and creativity, built by Soner and Gina as a shared vision rather than a business plan on paper.
Together, they wanted to create more than a coffee shop. Artessence is a space where specialty coffee, thoughtfully made food, and local art come together naturally. It’s a place rooted in quality without pretension, creativity without pressure, and community without noise.
