Soner and Gina brought their love of coffee, food and art together on North Main Street. This is the place they’re building, one day at a time.
Soner Acar
Usually dialing in an espresso, fixing something, or thinking about what comes next.
Soner comes from a background in technology and product design. He likes building things from the ground up—and at Artessence, that means everything from the space itself to the small details behind a consistent cup of coffee.
He started Artessence with a simple idea: make a place people want to come back to. Good coffee matters, but so does how it feels to walk through the door.
When he’s not behind the bar, there’s a good chance he’s making one more adjustment.
Gina
From the kitchen to the canvas, Gina brings her own point of view to Artessence.
A cook and artist, Gina draws on Mexican flavors and home-style cooking to create food that is comforting, colorful and full of character. Her dishes make it easy to turn a quick coffee stop into breakfast and a little more time at the table.
Her creativity reaches beyond the kitchen. It shapes the art, atmosphere and warmth of the shop—a place where you can settle in, talk, and feel at ease.
